Daniel Acevedo is the Executive Chef of the Mildreds restaurant in London. Sarah currently works as Head of Development and Head of the Central Kitchen for Mildreds Restaurants. Mildred is a small group of vegetarian/ vegan restaurants based in London. The original branch in Soho opened over 30 years ago and we have branches in Camden, Kings Cross and Dalston.
Both Daniel and Sarah have both been involved in the food industry for over two decades, primarily but not exclusively, for vegetarian and vegan businesses. Daniel began his catering life in his native Melbourne working in a range of restaurants from Greek bistros to Noodle bars. Sarah has worked both in the UK and the US for large organisations such a Wholefoods as well as small owner operated businesses like Manna in Primrose Hill. They have been with Mildreds for over 10 years. Daniel Acevedo and Sarah co-authored both the ‘Mildreds Cookbook’ and more recently the ‘Mildreds Vegan’ cookbooks (both published by Octopus). In addition, they have contributed vegetarian and vegan recipes for a diverse range of publications including Foodism, Men Heath, Womens Health, Delicious, The Sunday Times and Red Magazine.
